Car ownership in the UK is changing and evolving, and in the face of the growing significance of the climate crisis we consider how this impacts our lives and environments.

Public realm design, public transport, active travel, self-driving and autonomous vehicles and demand-responsive transport technologies play a vital role in our changing relationship to the car.  Taking this into account we can begin to discuss how the transition to reduced car ownership is managed in the context of Kent.

The roundtable will be chaired by DSE Director, Chris Lamb, and will use Chatham House Rule.
