A roundtable to discuss current issues impacting planning and design. Kent Design provides a platform for a cross-sector discussion on these issues, enabling Kent and Medway’s local authorities and private sector partners to share their knowledge and learn from others.
What is happening in the property market? How have the uncertainties around Brexit effected the commercial and residential sectors? How has public sector investment been affected? What is the direction of current Government policy around planning and design? What legislative, policy and funding changes are in the pipeline? With the dismissal of Roger Scruton is the Beauty Commission a dead duck?
The roundtable will be chaired by D:SE Director, Chris Lamb, and will use Chatham House Rule.
Date: Thursday 20th June 2019
Time: 09:00 for tea, coffee and networking, the roundtable will start promptly at 09:30, closing at 11:00.
