We are seeking a consultant to help us increase our direct involvement with communities
As an enterprising charity, we have developed a financial model based entirely on fee income. Everything we do is in the public interest, but often the benefit to communities is indirect. To address this we have made a commitment to invest 10% of our annual surplus in projects that directly benefit communities in the areas we work. To help us direct this investment we are seeking a consultant to research and plan a pilot project. This must align with our charitable objectives and be located in one or more of the areas in which we currently work. It must also deliver one or more of the following:
- An increase in a community’s understanding of the value of design
- An increase in a community’s capacity and/or capability to plan and/or manage change in their built environment
- An improvement in a community’s built environment
