Balancing the needs of pedestrians, cyclists, motorists and public transport users is a major challenge as we design junctions, new housing developments and town centres. This masterclass will concentrate on how decisions are made about access and street design in new developments and examine the latest good practice form elsewhere in the UK. We will explore the policy context for transport design and the latest thinking on promoting active travel.
