Founder of Barr Gazetas. Civic Trust judge, member of the Design Council Sounding Board, judge on the WIP Student Awards. Formerly part-time tutor at University of Greenwich School of Architecture. Three papers published on urban design. Lectured in Moscow, Cairo University, St Lawrence University New York, Eco Build, Thames Gateway Conference, RIBA Public Realm Conference and for the Shanghai Design Week delegation. Alistair’s projects range from complex retrofit of listed buildings to recladding of large buildings in business parks. All projects pursue sustainability at every level and the practice was recently awarded an Outstanding BREEAM rating for a Listed Building in Regent Street.
