David Ogunmuyiwa

David is an architect, lecturer and writer. He is noted for his origins as a housing officer; Both for housing associations and, in some of London’s most challenged boroughs before training as an architect; Helping to deliver highly decorated schemes including for housing, education and, the arts. Prior to founding ArchitectureDoingPlace, he was successful in carrying out pivotal roles up to associate level, on delicate projects including RIBA award-winning schemes. He is an expert on the delivery of infill regeneration, in deprived environments with diverse stakeholders. Combining the grounding gathered at respected London practices with his background, to inform specialisms in housing, urban design, education and the arts.

He teaches architecture to MArch level, at Portsmouth University, Central Saint Martins and The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust.
