Dhruv is a chartered architect, chartered town planner, and experienced residential development practitioner. At Metropolitan Workshop, he is Head of Research and Practice Innovation, and promotes practice-based research and practice development. He is Chair of the RIBA Housing Group, former Head of Design, Home Group, and a visiting lecturer in the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape, Newcastle University. At Newcastle University, his ESRC-funded research investigates the social practices adopted by architect and planners to realise housing quality.
