Joe Holyoak is an architect and urban designer practising in Birmingham. He is a member of Birmingham City Council’s Conservation and Heritage Panel. He is urban design consultant to Redditch BC and Bromsgrove DC. He was a member of MADE’s team that was awarded a prize in the 2014 Wolfson Economics Prize for its proposal for a new garden city in the Black Country
He is a visiting lecturer at the University of Birmingham, and external examiner at the University of Westminster. He is the architecture and urban design correspondent for the Birmingham Post, and writes the end piece column for the journal of the Urban Design Group.
