Jonathan McDowell is an architect and director of Matter Architecture, which he established with Roland Karthaus in 2016. He is a member of Hackney and Islington Design Review Panels, and previously of the Yorkshire & Humber Regional DRP, as well as acting as a CABE Enabler from 2001-2011. He is an RIBA Competitions Architect Adviser and juror on numerous international and UK awards panels.
Jon is involved in a wide range of projects across varied sectors and scales of architecture including masterplanning, housing, community buildings, education and bridges.
