Mark Swenarton

Mark is both a historian and a critic of architecture. As an architectural historian he has written extensively on twentieth-century housing. As an architectural critic, he set up the monthly review Architecture Today, which he co-edited from 1989 to 2005, before becoming head of the architecture school at Oxford Brookes University. He was also deputy chair of design review at CABE. Mark is Emeritus Professor of Architecture at the University of Liverpool.
