Paola Sassi

Paola Sassi is an architect and academic with over 30 years experience and expertise in sustainable design. She has researched and published on design for closed material loops and the circular economy, ventilation and indoor air quality in buildings, sustainability ethics, and sustainable buildings and quality of life. Her book Strategies for Sustainable Architecture was runner-up in the RIBA International Book Award 2007. Her practice experience includes health care, education, commercial and residential buildings, as well as a cutting-edge deconstructable dwelling and ultra-low carbon new build and retrofits.
