Richard Hawkes

Richard is Director of HAWKES architecture which was established following the success of building the Crossway Passive House in Kent, leading to Hawkes Architecture specialising in the design of ground- breaking contemporary, low carbon sustainable buildings and ‘eco’ refurbishments.

Richard is a visiting lecturer at Cambridge University, The AA (Architecture Association), University of Kent & University of Creative Arts in Canterbury. He is actively involved with sustainability research with Cambridge University.
