Russell Brown formed Hawkins Brown with Roger Hawkins and has designed a series of major commercial developments in London. These include the Gucci building in Old Bond Street, Ridley Scott’s Headquarters in Beak Street and the comprehensive re-development of Heddon Street and Regent Street for the Crown Estate and Bedford Street and the Strand for Rugby Estates.
In parallel with this commercial work, Russell has a national reputation for his work with community and educational groups. He has led long term, community-led regeneration schemes in Dalston, Trowbridge, Stockwell Green and a series of community resource centres for Community Links in Newham.
