Stretching from the historic city of Chichester to the ambitious regeneration of Shoreham Harbour on the outskirts of Brighton, the four local authorities which comprise the Coastal West Sussex area have many diverse and interesting attributes. They share the challenges and opportunities of delivering sustainable growth in the coastal strip between the twin settings of the South Downs National Park and the sea.
Chichester, Arun and Adur & Worthing Councils are using design review as a key tool in helping to support the delivery of design quality and we were appointed in 2013 to set up a dedicated panel and manage the cross-authority service.
