Alice joined Design South East in October 2024.
A qualified architect, Alice previously worked for Threefold Architects in London. She has experience of working on a wide range of projects, from residential mixed-use schemes to commercial deep-retrofit projects throughout London and further afield. Most recently, she led a retrofit project of a listed building in Central London where she focused on driving discussions around material reuse and sustainability to enhance the existing infrastructure.
Alice believes that the best way to create social value is through engaging with communities and giving people a say in shaping their own neighbourhoods. She has a keen interest in community outreach, having led public consultations and design workshops throughout both her professional experience and academic studies. She prides herself on her ability to communicate effectively and engage with others to understand their unique needs and lived experiences. This is further exhibited in the volunteering roles which she undertakes, both at Age UK and previously as a mentor for the London Neighbourhood Scholarship Trust.
