Emily joined Design South East in October 2024.
In previous roles, Emily has collaborated with Redbridge Council in community outreach and engaging with residents on their vision for their neighbourhood and helped with town planning and masterplanning with the Classic Planning Institute. Emily was also involved in a variety of high-end residential projects from planning to construction phases in architecture firms such as ADAM Architecture, Russell Taylor Architects and Stanhope Gate Architecture, and undertakes freelance art and architectural projects.
Emily has a Master of Architecture with a focus on Classical Architecture from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, USA. She believes in traditional craftsmanship and designs which are sensitive to the local environment as they are key to human flourishing and healthy living. Emily is also an artist, and she enjoys painting, pottery (both hand-building and throwing), and singing in a choir.
