Have you got an idea for a project to improve your area for the benefit of the local community or do you know someone that has?  The Design for Communities Fund created by Design South East has pledged up to £10,000 to support innovative crowdfunding projects in the South-East and East of England, and now extending its reach to London.  We are looking for projects that will improve access to and provide an understanding of good design of the built environment – buildings, landscapes and public spaces.
Projects must meet at least one of the fund’s objectives:
A. Improve your local environment
B. Increase community capacity to plan/manage/change the built environment.
C. Develop community understanding/skills in good design.
If you have an idea for a project but are not sure whether it meets the criteria, check out the fund criteria, terms and conditions here.
Perhaps you’ve heard about ‘crowdfunding’ but you’re not really sure what it’s about and how it could work for you. Click here to see how it all works.
The great news is that not only have we extended the funding criteria to London but we have also extended the deadline for applications. Start crowdfunding your project on Crowdfunder by midnight 04th July 2018 and apply for Design for Communities extra funding.
