Bushra Mohamed

Bushra Mohamed is an architect, writer and educator. She is the Director of Msoma Architects, a London-based architecture and research practice that centres diasporic identities, cultures and people within the built environment.

Her practice is entwined with academia, where she develops research into architectures for diasporic communities and decolonial pedagogical frameworks at the Architectural Association School of Architecture and Kingston School of Art. She is an External Examiner at University of Cambridge

Bushra has contributed to several publications, including Sound Advice’s NOW YOU KNOW, the Architectural Review, the AA Files, and the RIBA Journal. In 2020, she was named a RIBA Rising Star.
