Charlotte Robinson

Charlotte is an Architect Accredited in Building Conservation (AABC) and Senior Architect at Purcell in the Oxford Studio. She started her career in historic building conservation at Donald Insall Associates, working in London and Birmingham before moving to Oxford in 2019 to join Purcell.

The majority of her work is in the cultural, educational and ecclesiastical sectors. Previous clients include Oxford University Estates and Christ Church college and cathedral. In September 2021, Charlotte was appointed as the Winchester Cathedral Architect (also known as Surveyor of the Fabric), a statutory appointment responsible for advising the Cathedral Chapter on all matters regarding repair, care and development work to the Cathedral and buildings within its precincts. Charlotte is also a member of the Oxford Diocesan Advisory Committee (DAC) for the Care of Churches, reviewing and providing specialist architectural advice on applications for faculty permission.

Charlotte completed her architectural training at Manchester School of Architecture and the University of Cambridge, before going on to study for a Post-Graduate Certificate in Architectural History at the University of Oxford.
