Loreana Padron

Loreana qualified as an Architect (ARB, RIBA) at the Architectural Association and the Central University of Venezuela, she has a Master’s degree in Sustainable Architecture and extensive professional experience in all stages of the design and construction process, both for new-build and refurbishment projects.

As Regional Head of Sustainability, Loreana is responsible for ensuring projects meet the highest standards of sustainability and environmental responsibility, as well as making sure the practice follows the short and long-term sustainability strategy and action plan. As an Architect with a passion for evidence-based design, she works closely with teams to integrate sustainable practices into every aspect of their work, both from a project and an architectural practice perspectives. From the sourcing and footprint of materials to designing energy-efficient buildings, her goal is to create beautiful, healthy and functional spaces that have a positive impact on both people and the planet.

Loreana is a Certified Passivhaus Designer (CEPHD) and a strong advocate for following a fabric-first approach, as well as the re-use and retrofit of buildings. One of her key interests is in Post-Occupancy Evaluation (POE), which allows the team to gather valuable feedback on how their projects really perform, which translate into more accurate designs and better buildings.
