Owen is an urban designer at David Lock Associates with experience across a wide range of scales of placemaking, with a strong record in understanding the needs of strategic scale growth. He is a member of the Urban Design Group and winner of the Student Award at the 2019 National Urban Design Awards. He has worked on projects at different scales and in varied contexts, including town centres, urban expansion strategic sites, new settlements through to international city-wide transport-oriented development strategies. He has a particular interest in inclusive design, the history of city design, as well as the connection between transport, development and joined-up sustainable placemaking.
