Paul Bourgeois

Paul has over 27 years of working in the environmental and decarbonisation sector. Principal areas of interest are energy efficiency/conservation and renewable energy generation technologies, green infrastructure and natural capital, regional energy infrastructure, low and zero carbon construction including Passivhaus, bringing these together to consider built environment intersects and ultimately sustainable place making, and data analysis related to all these areas.

He has worked for local authorities, regional devolved government and a national government department. He has also worked in the third sector, setting up two CICs, and the private sector including establishing his own environmental consultancy in 2007. Paul is Industrial Innovation Lead at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, and is also Associate Development Director at the Passivhaus Trust.
