Sarah Jackson

Sarah is a qualified architect with over 30 years experience in the built environment industry, with specific experience in guidance of design quality and the historic environment, currently working as a townscape and heritage consultant. Acting as a critical friend, Sarah advises on design, townscape and heritage matters on major planning applications for projects which are sensitive, usually because of their context or height. She has appeared as an expert witness at public inquiries.

Sarah was a director at the Peter Stewart Consultancy and has worked as a townscape and heritage consultant for Alan Baxter and Tavernor. Prior to consultancy work, Sarah was the head of Design Review at the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE).
