Soraya graduated from Canterbury School of Architecture and set up Theis + Khan architects with her partner Patrick Theis in 1995.
Since then Theis + Khan’s most significant projects have included Lumen church in King’s Cross, London and their own development Bateman’s Row in Shoreditch that was RIBA Building of the Year and shortlisted for the RIBA Stirling Prize in 2010. In 2017 Soraya was given the Freedom of the City of the London.
